ECO4 and other funding Schemes

The Energy Company Obligation is a government energy efficiency scheme for Great Britain, administered by Ofgem.

The ECO scheme, commitment by UK government to help people lower their heating costs through energy efficient home upgrades. The government requires energy companies to provide a £1 billion per year of funding for these measures for eligible households. The 'big 6' have a target based on their share of the domestic energy market in Britain. The main aims of the initiative is to reduce the carbon footprint of the UK housing stock and reduce fuel poverty.

We can help you access the funding. We can check you qualify, assess your property, and install your home improvements. You could be entitled to energy efficient measures if you and your property meet the eligibility criteria.

The current phase of the scheme runs from April 2022 to March 2026.


Your property must have an EPC rating of E, F or G. you can find your certificate here 


If your property doesnt currently have an EPC, our accredited surveyors can help with that.


Your household income needs to be Under £31,000 per year or someone in the household is in receipt of one of the below DWP benefits:


1) Income based Jobseekers Allowance (JSA),

2) Income related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA),

3) Income Support (IS),

4) Pension Credit Guarantee Credit (PCGC),

5) Working Tax Credit (WTC),

6) Child Tax Credit (CTC),

7) Universal Credit (UC),

8) Housing Benefit,

9) Pension Credit Savings Credit (PCSC),

10) Child Benefit, (income caps apply).
